Better HTML->PDF results (support all HTML tags and CSS).It does not require a server side implementation compare to phantomJS or headless chrome solution. As you mentioned, jspdf/pdfmake gives the user true "download" experience, instead of repurposing "print" as download. If you want to make the PDF file downloadable, you may want to look into phantomJS or headless chrome at the server side. In terms of HTML->PDF, printing from the browser always has a better result than the javascript PDF libraries. This file should look something like so: service: generatePdf provider: name: aws region: us-west-1 runtime: nodejs10.x functions: generatePdf: handler: src/index.generatePdf events: - http: path: /pdf method: get. In pdfmake and jsPDF, If you want to make your PDF to look the same as your HTML, you will need to do HTML->Canvas then paste canvas as a picture inside of PDF. We will need to use a configuration file called serverless.yml (for more details on the file options, see here ). JsPDF does not support external CSS when converting HTML to PDF. Pdfmake does not support HTML->PDF very well: But a lot of times you need to use HTML->Canvas with jsPDF/pdfmake. Actually, printing from the browser does NOT generate PDF as an image (you can test it quickly yourself). It is exactly the opposite of what Marko Tošić said. The only downside I see is the user may be confused about why they're being asked to print something when they weren't expecting a PDF but as the reports aren't generated often it's not a big deal here. I don't see this approach being suggested anywhere which I find strange. Firefox's print preview shows a preview and the interface is a bit more messy but you can save to PDF in a few clicks.Īm I missing something? Are there any major downsides to my approach? Maybe OS specific issues? Why would you use jspdf or pdfmake over this? Chrome shows a preview and lets you save to PDF in a click. Trigger "window.print()" to print the page in JavaScript. Use CSS to hide everything but the report HTML and use print" styles to style the report. Put directly on the page the HTML needed for my report. It seems like they'll be complicated to work with lots of gotchas. I've been reading about the limitations of jspdf (no UTF8 support) and pdfmake. I want to be able to add graphs, text, UTF-8 support, images, position text but nothing overly crazy in terms of styling and layout apart from that. I want to create a PDF report within a browser extension tab.

Regardless of your level of expertise in project management theory. There was nothing major, though, and on balance GanttProject is a capable tool which could be all you need for many project management tasks. GanttProject is a free project management and scheduling app for OSX, Windows and Linux. We had a few problems, too: the reporting tool didn't always deliver (we never found it why), sometimes the interface didn't behave as we expected, there were one or two issues with Microsoft Project file imports, and so on. You can get a very long way just by exploring menus and dialog boxes (and there's also a sample project to load which will help you further). You can create a new project in a click clicking Tasks > New Task adds a task, ready to be given a name and date double-click it and you can set its duration, priority, a web link, resources and more. If you're a project management novice, though, the best aspect of GanttProject will probably be its ease of use. And there's even WebDAV support to help you share projects directly with others. There's also the option to save individual charts as images, or generate HTML or PDF reports on what you're doing. Sharing information is vital, of course, so it's good to see that you can import and export projects in Microsoft Project and CSV formats. And a separate resources chart keeps you up-to-date with who's too busy and who really isn't. You're able to assign human resources to work on each task, record how much time they're working on it, their role, and so on. Ill reserve my rating until after Ive had a chance to use it for a while. First open the application then use the open menu command. Features: Task hierarchy and dependencies Gantt chart. Gantt charts help you define milestones and see how your tasks are organised (and can be used to produce a PERT chart, too). GanttProject is a free and easy to use Gantt chart based project scheduling and management tool. The program has a reasonable feature set. GanttProject is free forever.GanttProject is a free and open source Java-based project management tool which runs on Windows, Linux and OS X. GanttProject lacks reporting, budgeting, collaboration and hourly rates features.Ĭustomer support is available through forums. Sharing projects with coworkers is possible thanks to the WebDAV support. If you need to generate PDF or HTML reports on your activity, you can do it in minutes. It’s possible to use separate resources chart to know who’s too busy and who is not working. As many others competitors, the software lets you assign human resources to work on each task, recording their role and how much time they’re working on it. In GanttProject you can profit from Gantt charts, through which you can keep an eye on how your tasks are organised, define milestones and create PERT chart. Importing and exporting projects in Microsoft Project and CSV formats is easy. Menu and dialog boxes are straightforward to navigate although the user interface is sometimes a little unresponsive. After creating it, you can set its priority, duration, a web link, resources, etc. Maybe GanttProject is not the best choice for novice users, but create a new project is simple. The script you need to run is ganttproject.bat on Windows, mand on MacOSX and ganttproject.sh on Linux/UNIX systems. If you are syncing your data with an existing calendar you might want to. In the most simple case installing is very easy: unzip ganttproject-.zip file to any directory on your disk drive, and run a launcher script from the installation directory. One-way sync is a good idea if you dont want any data coming from Ganttic to Google Calendar. Select sync direction and the data you want to syncu0003u0003u0003u0003. The feature set is limited and definite, but reasonable for basic management needs. Click on the 'Calendar synchronization' icon. To be precise, the software it’s a project scheduling application. GanttProject is a free and open source Java-based project management software featuring Gantt chart, resource management, calendaring, import/export (MS Project, PDF, spreadsheets, HTML). Different images can be layered too, of course. I find that with my super-sharp OM-1 photos, I must increase the smoothness slider to avoid unwanted artifacts.Īdjustment layers can be individually masked and blending modes applied. The detail in the enlarged images is incredibly fine. I've used ON1's Resize AI to increase the size of small images to more than double their original proportions. The resizing can be batch processed to an entire folder of images, and the Resize module also enables batch printing. It uses real-world texture examples to decide how the image should look. The AI version of Resize uses information trained by millions of photos, so the resizing process adds information to the image instead of just blowing up the photo's existing data. The most significant change brought by the latest update to ON1 Photo Raw 2022.5 is the inclusion of Resize AI within it. I like ON1's unadjusted results of my cameras' raw files far more than Adobe's, which I find over-sharpened and lacking. Additionally, On1 has clearly put a lot of work into developing its raw development software, so it doesn't use the same generic algorithms employed by some of Adobe's other competitors. It's much faster to switch back and forth between the raw development and the image editors than between Lightroom and Photoshop. Switching between the modules is immediate. ON1 Photo Raw 2022.5 Browse works both as a file browser and as a catalogue It is also a portrait enhancing, HDR processing, time-lapse creating, focus stacking, AI-controlled sky swapping, panorama stitching photo editor with an advanced search engine, and many other tricks up its sleeves. Then there's the AI-based resize software, plus the newly improved denoise tools that knock spots off most everything else on the market. It has an integrated raw development and layers-based editing module like ACR and Photoshop combined. Imagine the prodigious love child of Lightroom and Bridge. It now includes a browser module that incorporates an advanced catalog. Honestly, I wasn't that impressed with its results back then, which seemed to do little more than what Instagram filters later did. It was a viable alternative to the early iterations of the Nik software, and it worked as a plugin and stand-alone program. I first came across it years ago under its old name, Perfect Effects. This is known as Rich Black.ON1 Photo Raw has taken time to evolve into what it is today. For richer, darker black, we recommend a CMYK setting of C=30%, M=30%, Y=30%, and K=100%. We all know about shades of gray, but in printing, there are also varying shades of black. For more about image resolution, visit this help center article. This will only lead to heartache and gnashing of teeth. Do not try to compensate for a poor resolution image by simply increasing the DPI manually. Otherwise, they will not reproduce properly on printing equipment. While 72 dpi and RGB are acceptable (and preferable) for web-based viewing, print-based images need to be 300 dpi and must use CMYK. When designing for print it's important to use high-resolution images with CMYK color. An explanation of why this is needed can be found here. If your design includes a border that does run along the outer edge, we recommend a border width of at least 1/4 inch (0.25) inside the cut line and 1/8 inch (0.125) outside the cut line, for a total width of 3/8 inch (0.375). This will ensure a more symmetrical appearance once the print piece is trimmed. If your design includes a border that does not run along the outer edge of the page, we recommend leaving at least 1/4 inch (0.25) of white space between the cut line and your border. This will help ensure that your piece maintains proper symmetry when it is printed, cut, and folded. If your artwork includes folds (such as a tri-fold brochure), add guides at the fold lines and 1/8 inch on either side of the fold as a safety margin for each panel. Any text that extends beyond this margin will fall outside the mechanical tolerances of our paper-cutting equipment and may get cut off inadvertently. We call this the safety margin, and any text you're including in your document should not go past this margin. In addition to the bleed line, we also recommend adding a second set of guides 1/8 inch inside the bleed line (1/4 inch from each document edge). The bleed area will fall outside this line (called the bleed line). We recommend adding guides 1/8 inch from each edge of your document to indicate the cut line (the line where your document will be trimmed). This excess space (1/8 inch on all sides) is then trimmed off once the printing process is complete. Since printing equipment can't always accommodate printing all the way to the edge of the page, extra space must be added to allow for it. Bleeds are text or images that extend all the way to the edge of the finished page. The 1/4 inch of extra space is intended for bleeds. Before he was converted, Paul zealously persecuted Christians. Although many faithful servants were used to preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ, Saul, also called Paul, was the most influential. The book of Acts gives the history of the Christian church and the spread of the gospel of Jesus Christ, as well as the mounting opposition to it. ‘Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.’”Īcts 16:31: “So they said, ‘Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved.’” ‘I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,’ he replied. He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, ‘Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?’ ‘Who are you, Lord?’ Saul asked. For we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.’”Īcts 9:3–6: “As neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. The book of Acts covers the transitional time between the ascension of Christ and the completion of the New Testament canon, and the apostolic miracles were God’s means of authenticating His message through the men who penned the Bible.Īcts 1:8: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”Īcts 2:4: “All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.”Īcts 4:12: “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.”Īcts 4:19–20: “But Peter and John replied, ‘Judge for yourselves whether it is right in God’s sight to obey you rather than God. Many miracles were performed during this time by the apostles to validate their message. Reading the book of Acts, we are enlightened and encouraged by the power of the gospel as it spread throughout the world and transformed lives. The book of Acts sheds light on the gift of the Holy Spirit, who empowers, guides, teaches, and serves as our Counselor. Acts records the apostles being Christ’s witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the surrounding world. The emphasis of the book is the fulfillment of the Great Commission. The book of Acts was written to provide a history of the early church. The book of Acts was likely written between AD 61 and 64. The tradition from the earliest days of the church has been that Luke, a companion of the apostle Paul, wrote the books of Luke and Acts (Colossians 4:14 2 Timothy 4:11). From Luke 1:1–4 and Acts 1:1–3, we know that the same author wrote both Luke and Acts. The book of Acts, also called Acts of the Apostles, does not specifically identify its author. |
